We at Park Homes Spain Ltd do not sell mobile homes or operate mobile home parks in Spain. What we do have is staff on the ground who have many years of experience in the mobile home industry. Although the company is new the staff are certainly not. They have project managed many new mobile homes being shipped to Spain over the last ten years for different companies and the big difference now is that they will be doing it as third party agents offering buyers the chance of buying their new mobile home in Spain in a safe way with all the costs and deposits required upfront. Each stage is paid separately and only when needed. Even better is the fact that for the buyer we ensure our services are free and the purchase is risk free. Why is that now necessary? The same could be said for parks that were under development when the first new mobile homes arrived and not a lot happened after that. Checking the park out is one of our first tasks and although we are a UK Ltd company we deal with the Spanish park owners in Spanish and you can rest assured we know all about how a decent mobile home park should be. The park owners also like the idea that we are doing what we are doing because the best parks want everyone to know that they are as good as they say they are with all the relevant paperwork in place. The buying of new mobile homes in Spain also hit rock bottom in confidence terms following one of the biggest companies going bust a few years ago. Many people lost money and it hit the news in a big way. The BBC even did a documentary over the collapse.

We use an independent and FSA/HMRC regulated UK Ltd company to manage all the payments necessary after the initial order of the home is placed and when the home has been built. Whilst they hold your money in trust the UK dealership has to complete the sale in Spain first before they are paid in full. You the customer confirms that the terms of the sale have been carried out and all parties can receive payments. The new mobile home is tracked at every stage of the process. You can even watch it arrive, Never before has a service of this kind been offered to clients in the UK thinking of moving to Spain.

It can only work when there is a third party such as Park Homes Spain Ltd to project managing the whole transaction from start to finish and being a third party we look after the buyer and dealership alike with very clear terms and conditions as to how a sale is to be conducted. It is for that reason we do not sell new mobile homes. We remain a third party.

Even though we are a new company and keen to offer buyers a good selection of parks we will not be rushed. The parks that we will feature must either be very well established or offer a great prospect to the buyer as well as having all the correct paperwork. We have been very lucky that the first park to pass everything is already known as one of the best in Spain.

Coming soon is a second park that is in development right now with mobile homes already established. It has passed as far as correct paperwork is concerned but we still have to clarify that the plans in place will be carried out so that the end result is a park to be proud of. It is very different to Park La Posada but does offer those who wish for a very rural setting with stunning views a park to site their new mobile home. There is also a joint camping/mobile home site very close to the beach that is in the final stage of completing the process.

Although we have an office in the UK most of the work we do is in Spain. We have two directors who are lucky enough to be at the sharp end in the sunshine. They are the project managers. They are the ones who visit parks, oversee the homes arriving, oversee the installation of the home as well as being present when the handover is made. Both speak Spanish so nothing is a problem for them. They do however have to return to the UK as well sometimes to talk to the UK dealerships so they do see rain sometimes.

No money at all is required from anyone to start using our services in making any arrangements about visiting any park. It is only once a park has been chosen and a home ordered that any money has to change hands and again we are on hand to confirm that the home has been ordered, the manufacturer has been paid the deposit and to confirm how the project can be managed. The dealership has to complete their obligations in order to be paid in full and the buyer has to honour their obligations by authorising the payments to be made to the dealership and transporters once all the terms and conditions have been met.

As project managers we take some financial risk as well so it is in everyone's interest that everything is up front right from the start. The buyer gets their dream home in Spain, the dealership have a relaxed customer.
