We at Park Homes Spain SL have made it our business to show clients not only the area around the town of Antequera in the province of Malaga but the life style that goes with living in a mobile home as well. To this end we recommend only parks that are dedicated residential style mobile home parks only rather than camp sites that also allow mobile homes on them as well.

The first question we are always asked is what are the differences? A quality residential style park such as Park La Posada is run along the same lines as any quality all year round mobile home park in the UK. There are rules and regulations which means that the residents can live on the park knowing that it is designed for residential use, there is no sub letting allowed which means that they will not have different holiday makers living next door every week or two weeks. It also means that they will not have normal campers walking around either which of course happens on a normal camp site. Other advantages with residential style mobile home parks include the facts that the facilities on the park are exclusive to the residents, roads and lighting in place, all mains services connected and a park office dedicated to ensuring a peaceful and enjoyable lifestyle.

Because we as a company do not recommend mobile homes on camp sites it does not mean camp sites are a bad thing. For clients looking to retire and enjoy a relaxed lifestyle living in a like minded community then we regard a camping site as not being suitable. If however clients are looking for a holiday home in which they can sub let when they are not using it or have a young family then a mobile home on a camp site is the only option. The draw back is they do not enjoy the same level of security or comforts as a residential style park (for obvious reasons) and if the camp site is by the coast they must expect the rents to be higher and the plot sizes smaller.

Residential style parks however are just that. Same neighbours all the time (even if they only use it for holidays), rules and regulations to ensure harmony on the park, full use of the facilities with friends and neighbours and of course a park office to deal with all things Spanish should you need them to do so. Add to that 24 hour security so you know your home is safe and sound should you need to return to the UK for whatsoever. A community (village like) spirit means making new friends is also very easy. In short, showing the life style and the quality of the parks are the two most important aspects of our job when it comes to showing clients who looking into the possibility of owning or retiring to a mobile home park in Spain. Knowing what we have to offer means that clients quite often have some idea what to expect before they come on a visit.

Because of the clear differences between the two possibilities of owning a mobile home in Spain we have decided to dedicate our service to residential style parks only and judging from the comments once the parks are seen it is fair to say that in most cases the parks exceed most peoples expectations.
