Overview: A very well designed park with open space in mind. Plots sizes are all 200 sq mts. Landscaping throughout the park gives it a quality feel. The park is very well maintained and new facilities have been added since the park was opened. Spanish owned and managed. All the residents are English speaking. Home specifications: Single unit mobile homes only allowed onto the park. Decking allowed up to and including 40 sq mts. Shed allowed. Homes sited at present come from all the major UK manufacturers. All mains services connected. Concrete stands for the homes and installations are carried out by the park themselves.
First thoughts: Park La Posada is very impressive and clearly is designed with the over 55 age group in mind. There is already a well established community living on the park so newcomers are soon made to feel at home. Entertainment in the community center is arranged by the residents themselves with costs supported by the management company. Many residents are either retired or semi-retired. The park offers a very secure lifestyle.
The park is situated outside the village of Alameda which is a very traditional village. All facilities from Banks to Supermarkets can be found in the village. The village has a limited bus service to Antequera/Malaga so own transport is recommended. Walking down to the village takes 20 minutes with walking back taking longer due to the fact that the park is higher than the village. The distance is 1 km.
Visiting: The park welcomes visitors provided an appointment is made so that the visitor can be met at the entrance and let in thanks to the security gate at the entrance of the park. We are happy to make any arrangements. You can also visit their website.
